The mission

Hope, on purpose.

The Positopian Daily is a small directory of hopeful news. It keeps a few real stories each morning: joy, kindness, nature, science, mind and wellbeing, community, and the spaces people share.

Positopian sits between a utopia that pretends problems are already gone and a dystopia that pretends nothing can be helped. The mission is to build hope on purpose. Notice what is working, and link the people who reported it. A brighter next step is a practice, not a mood.

The Positopian Daily stands on its own as a good-news morning. It asks one quiet question of a story: does it leave a reader a little more able to picture kindness? When the answer is yes, that story belongs in the day.

What a card is

Stories are summarized. A card is a headline, the publisher's name, the date, and a link that opens the original article. We do not reprint the article. When that page offers a cover image, the card shows a small resized copy and credits the publisher. If there is no cover, the card uses an abstract graphic. If a claim matters, the source is where it lives. Science and health items can keep a caution in view. That caution is a pointer to the source, not advice.

How a story gets in

A person reads a public feed, keeps recent items, skips tragedy-as-entertainment and anything that reads like an ad, and files the rest under a topic. The same link, or a near-duplicate headline, cannot return for 60 days. A link has to answer with a normal page before it can be shown. Today's Five draws from more than one topic.

Sharing

Share sends the article link through the browser's share sheet, or copies that link. It does not post the story anywhere from this site.

Sponsoring a week

One sponsor a week, at a flat $25. Pay for the week, then we email you to collect a logo and a link. We review the sponsorship before it runs. The logo and link go in the sponsor bar, and a "Sponsored by" line goes in the newsletter. The submit form stays on the page.
